History

• 2003 Foundation of the company: Founded by Vigen and Vahe Badalyan, VBET starts its activity under the name of Vivaro, with 4 employees (including its founders) and, for office / headquarters, a small gaming room in Yerevan. Initially baptized Vivaro, echoing the first names of the two brothers - Vigen and Vahe - and their father, Roman.
• 2006 Launch of a sports betting site: A bold gamble for the time when online services are unusual in the Caucasus region.
• 2009 Leader in its market: The company is growing very quickly and becomes number 1 in the Armenian market, with more than 300 Vivaro salons all over the country. The company then focused on the development of different games, software and systems.
• 2011 Betconstruct is founded in order to develop faster and internally the products necessary for online betting platforms. VBET becomes the B2C brand of BetConstruct.
• 2014 New Ambitions: New audience, new positioning, Vivaro obtains the Curaçao license and extends its activity internationally under the VBET brand.
• 2015 Euroépenne license: VBET obtains the MGA license (Malta Gambling Authority).
• 2017 Vbet sets up in Europe: VBET is approved by the ANJ (National Games Authority) in France and by the UKGC (United Kingdom Gambling Committee) in the United Kingdom. The brand launched on the English market the same year.
• 2018 Expansion in Europe: After obtaining the MGA license in 2015, VBET is expanding into 12 European countries: Germany, Andorra, Finland, Gibraltar, Iceland, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Slovakia and Slovenia.
• It was also in 2018 that VBET opened its first gaming fair outside Armenia in Berlin.
